Screwed...

Today I think I played the best poker of my life. Just about every move I made worked. The tournament had 176 people with 17 were to make the money. I doubled up early with Aces. Then didn't have a made hand for about 2-3 hours but managed to build my stack up from 15k to 30k. Then won a 20k race JJ v AK to boost me to 50k.

Long story short there were about 30 people left, I was up to 75k, got it allin 3 ways against 2 people that each had about 25k. I had AA, the two hands were 55 and JJ. The first card I saw was an Ace, and the board ran out A7364, shop that 75k pot to the pocket 5's! That would have made me a big chip leader, instead I was sitting back on 50k. I ended up down to 30k, then rode the roller coaster up and down for a while before I finally took 19th place. It truly sucks to play so good, and get F'ed in the dream situation with AA allin preflop, flopping top set... then eventually bubbling. 300$ buyin, first place was like 14k, and I was by far the best player at those final 3 tables. But once again I get close then get screwed big time. Hopefully sometime soon I'll break through and get a big cash.

I got the Harrah's tournament this weekend, maybe that'll be good to me.
