14 tables, profitable session...

Just finished a 100 minute session 14 tabling. At no point in the session did I feel rushed, and I got 1479 hands in. Lately, I have been keeping a close eye on Holdem Manager and how much I am up/down in the middle of a session. This stresses me out and causes me to play different so today I decided to go the whole session without ever looking at my profit line. The session was going normal. No horrendous beats, and no huge hands. Then toward the end of the session it was big hands everywhere. A guy in ep min raised and 3 callers out, I decided to call from the BB with A8s. Flop AT8, long story short button has AT and stacks me even tho I turned nut flush draw.

Then this hand happened...

That hand was disgusting, but the good news is he value bet the river, so I only would have lost another 25$ had I not made quads.

Then as I was getting off tables I hit another big hand, and got a nice donation. The guy had just had AA cracked by 99 that straightened out, and I knew he was a loose cannon that was certainly tilting.

This was my last hand at the table, and I really should have stuck around to win the rest of that guy's money. At one point he had $350 on the table, playing about 40% of his hands. I knew it would all be gone if he didn't leave soon.

I finished the session +$284, which was a nice bounce back from the bad sessions yesterday. I might start doing 14 tables over the next week and see how it goes. This session went smoothly, but I never got into multiple huge situations at the same time. I have some thoughts on random stuff I've been reading on poker blogs and what not, that I will try to stick into a post tomorrow. I may try to go play some live poker tomorrow, so I might have a report from that. Looking to have a big week coming up.
