Bah...

Had a super rough cash session this afternoon. 2561 hands over 3 hours, and was down $255 dollars. Just running like absolute crap. My allin EV suggested that I should have been up $5 in that session. I am not the biggest believer in the allinEV line, because it doesn't tell the whole story as to how you are running/playing. However, it certainly doesn't lie.

Later while playing a few tournaments I played 6-8 tables, 602 hands and finally got hot. I picked up $352 in the short session, and actually ran $75 above my allinEV and salvaged the day. Then I got off my tables because I was going deep in the 35k.

I had the 35k, fifty-fifty, and 28k going at the same time. Made a very deep run in the 35k, ended up finishing 24th. I kept losing small pots and doubling up the short stacks when I couldn't get my hands to hold. Eventually shoved in over a raise with 99, and the guy behind me woke up with QQ and that was it for me. Very dissapointing after 5+ hours of work. Just wasn't running good enough at the end. I could have played the last hand differently and have not shoved allin, but too late now. Really was a rollercoaster night on the tournaments, my stack hardly ever felt consistent and just couldn't hold up enough to really build the big stack. It had been a while since I made a deep run, and I thought I was poised for a big cash. Gotta learn what I can and take it down next time. Went out close to the bubble in the fifty, and couldn't get anything going in the 28k.

Played my 4 hours of cash today, and might play some more later tonight since on weekends the games usually get really juicy after midnight. I plan on playing a few more tournaments tomorrow and getting in a bunch of hands on the cash tables. Trying to finish the month strong in the cash games and I know I am due for a heater. I am still way down for the month on cash, mostly from running like crap... here is my graph for the month with the allinEV line included... pretty sick difference.
