Played a few tournaments this morning/afternoon. Bought into a 3500 ftp satelite to the Sunday Brawl. Then the 21k 26$ KO. Then the 20k 55$ tournament. Then had the 30k Freeroll lined up for later.
Things turned to crap quickly in the 20k, I was down to 110 chips, then battle back to 1100 chips. Only to lose a race, oh well. In the 21k I was super card dead, finally got KK, I raise, the BB ships it with AT, flops an Ace, game over. Made a nice run in the satelite. Got deep, stole enough blinds a little before the bubble, then just folded to victory. A very nice $256 seat for just 3500 ftps. I quickly withdrew since I don't want to play a tournament that big, and will use the tournament dollars for smaller tournaments. I'm gonna be busy with the live tournament tomorrow anyways. Even though the session today was depressing because I was card dead, and got nothing going, winning that seat made it a profitable session. My brain is kind of fried from all the tournaments lately, so I'm gonna take it easy.
I'm going to wash my car, take a shower, do some HW. I might grind some cash games later to get my FTPs for the day. But no tournaments the rest of the day, unless its the Turbo Fiddy, because I don't have the brain power to play a 6 hour marathon and need to save my energy for the live tournament at Oceans tomorrow. I need to not let these tournaments from today stifle my confidence going into tomorrow, because I think my game is primed for a good run if the cards fall decently. I'll give an update later on how the evening cash games go.
