Played a short session earlier today. Not too eventful, just lost a few medium sized pots against short stacks sucking out. Which had me -$30 on that session.
Just finished a long session of about 2 hours and 40 minutes where I played 2384 hand. Started off pretty good in the first 300 hands I must have been up about a buyin. Then ran into a set over set situation, I limp called a big raise with 66, the SB also called the raise. Flop Q65. The guy put in a continuation bet, the SB flat called. I knew the SB was super super tight, and there was a decent chance he had a set, I made a big raise, the button folded then the SB shoved. At this point I knew he had a set, so it was about 50/50 as to whether it was QQ or 55. I called and he had QQ.
After this I ran top 2 pair into a set. But I still felt ok and continued on in my session. There was alot of action at my tables with alot of fish out. I won a set over set hand, but of course the guy I was against only had 25$.
Then towards the end of my session everything fell to pieces. The button made a raise with 44, I called with 22, flop 432, there goes a buyin. I have AQ on AQ6 flop, there goes another buyin. I flop royal flush draw with AcQc, on JcTc9x board. Get it in against 99 and he holds. Just everything went to pieces. I haven't been struggling with tilt too much over the last month, but this was too much, I was completely rattled. So I quickly started getting off of my tables, but probably spewed off another 50$ or so in my last hands with some pocket pairs and AK.
Bottom line... -$628 on the session
I think this is the worst session I've had. I think I had one session at NL50 that was 6 buyins, so that comes close. Probably just going to take the rest of the night off, then come back tomorrow. Sick day, this puts me way down on the month, hopefully I can make a comeback.
