Just finished a -$90 session. played 1413 hands in about an hour and a half. Overall I was surprised by how loose the tables were, but I couldn't make any good progress in my session. Only really won 1 big hand, but other than that didn't hit any big hands, and took a few bad beats. Just generally felt like a dull session. I played one hand poorly where I should have folded on the river. This guy flat called my c/o raise from the SB with KK. I had JJ, on a low board and he led out in every betting round and I just called him down. I needed to define the hand sooner with a raise on the flop, or just lay it down on the river because it's unlikely he is still betting strong without big strength. I partly called because I knew he wasn't a strong player, so his odd play confused me and got him paid off. After 90 minutes my connection started sucking, not sure what's causing it, but I am happy that I have been able to get a couple of decent sessions the last few days. I have been kinda disapointed because my goal to play 4 hours a day on NL100 was quickly squashed by my crappy internet. I feel like I could have made alot over my Spring break, instead of just being break even.
On a positive note, today is Friday the 13th. The last Friday the 13th, I won $3500 in the 6max KO tournament. So maybe I will run well tonight and roll off a big win. I don't know what time I will be home tonight, but I'm hoping to play in a few.
