Played a session just now, never really got things going. 1625 hands, -$193. I experimented and played 14 tables, instead of the normal 12. It didn't really seem to effect my play much, other than making it a bit more difficult to record notes on players after hands.
Took a couple of bad beats, and crap cards that rolled off. like my AK losing to AT, on an Axx flop when there was a 3bet preflop, and considerable amount of flop betting. Turn T owned me. Also AA getting crushed by the table donkey with 98o. The flop was T97, so he wasn't going there, he raised me on the turn, and I shoved, which he quickly called and rolled off a 6 on the river.
I still need some help with folding, my AK got owned by A7 on a board that ran out AT772. I felt like I was beat when I got raised on the turn but couldn't get away from it. I need to trust my gut feeling more on hands like this.
It's sick to think about how much we lose on rake. Rakeback helps a bit, but FTP is making a killing. In my session today I lost $87.60 to rake. So really I only lost about $100 to other players. In almost 11k hands over the past week and a half, $584 has been raked from me. Oh well, good thing there are enough donkeys out there to make up for it and make me money.
